We are very pleased to announce Stephanie as our new office administrator. She has a wealth of administrative experience and a mission heart, which is perfect for her role with us. We are grateful to our previous administrator Teresa for providing faithful services for many years.
From a recent data collection, we were able to ascertain that we currently have students from 27 nationalities studying with us. New exciting opportunities will lead to an ever-increasing number of Gospel witnesses from diverse backgrounds. This internationalization is one of NCIU’s hallmarks.
Doctoral students can now download general NCIU research project information in the Student Login area under “Doctoral Studies”. It contains fundamental research literature and sections that should be part of any dissertation.
Elizabeth Mburu’s excellent “African Hermeneutics” is based on a contextualized approach to hermeneutics that begins in Africa, moving from the known to the unknown as students learn to apply her ‘four-legged stool model’ to biblical texts, namely examining: the parallels to African contexts, the theological context, the literary context, and the historical and cultural context.
Recently enrolled students can now download the newly created Study Skills Guide. It replaces the former Student Study Guide.
We are pleased to welcome Bill Schwartz to our Board of Directors. Bill has a wealth of church-planting experience in continental Europe, especially Belgium. In addition, he heads up a ministry network and a Bible School. We look forward to expanding our training capacities with his help.
